As a Cloud Engineer, you will have a significant impact on the orchestration and management of Cisco's SD-WAN cloud infrastructure. Your role will involve:
- Building and maintaining tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations.
- Addressing and resolving issues in development, test, and production environments.
- Collaborating with team members to incorporate and share innovations.
- Enhancing product lifecycle and features in an agile development environment.
- Ensuring high standards of quality in challenging production situations.
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in operations, technical/customer support roles.
- Expertise in web applications/services and public cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work independently.
- Experience with VMware and OpenStack.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python and Node.js.
- Background in Linux/Unix administration.
- Strong team-building skills with cross-department collaboration.
- A commitment to continuous learning and self-improvement.
