Your Role and Responsibilities
The WCA4Z team is looking for developers who show the initiative and thrive at tackling problems. The AI landscape as a whole is rapid paced and comes with ever developing requirements, which you as a developer would be required to help design and engineer solutions that innovate within that environment.
Your main duties will include designing and implementing new features, optimising and maintaining existing code, and ensuring the software meets high-quality standards through testing and debugging. You will also work closely with other developers, designers, and product managers to ensure the software meets user needs.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Solid experience developing Java backend systems using frameworks such as Spring Boot or similar technologies.
- Proficient in designing and implementing RESTful APIs, microservices, and web services.
- Strong understanding of database design and implementation, particularly with relational databases like DB2.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Familiarity with z/OS a plus but not mandatory
