The ORM Data Governance is a senior level role managing a team responsible for ORM Data Governance and Data Operations. This role is responsible for adopting the enterprise data governance strategy and/or Data Risk and Controls framework and roadmap, including alignment with related enterprise-wide anddata governance documentation for Operational Risk Management. Excellent communication skills required to negotiate internally, often at a senior level.

Responsibilities:

• Full management responsibility for a team, including management of people, to include performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations and budget approval
• Liaise withbusiness/function/regionalpartners to understand and align Data Governance, and/or Data Risk and Control related work
• Manage and lead ORM Data Governance, and/or Data Risk and Control, as well as adherence to policy, practices, and standards including industry best practices
• Ongoing management of ORM owned Critical Data elements, Data Quality Rules and DQ Scorecards.
• Effectively lead change in an organization with Citigroup’s size, scale and complexity.

Qualifications:

• 15+ years relevant experience in Banking, Financial Services, with 8-10+ years' managerial experience leading cross-functional teams
• Strategic mindset, with ability to foresee future possibilities and translate them into breakthrough strategies
• Communicates effectively, develops and delivers multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences; able to drive consensus, and influence relationships at all levels
• Experience leveraging the processes and principles of change management to drive organizational change, defining change criteria, providing support and education, managing resistance, and measuring outcomes
• Manage through ambiguity by making sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems
• Promotes a culture of collaboration and teamwork across organizations; and demonstrates effective work relationships with business and global function colleagues
• Experience creating and executing against frameworks that improve the quality and value of data to meet regulatory commitments and enhance risk management.
• Experience leveraging glossary, lineage, and data quality tools to drive governance
• Experience creating and being a champion for a positive risk culture that supports sustainable business growth through transparent engagement, a partnership approach, and a no-tolerance approach for behavior that exposes the organization to an inappropriate amount of risk
• Understanding of the overall regulatory environment and previous experience on data plan execution, preferred
• Working knowledge of Citi’s Data Operating Model

Education:

• Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred and managerial experience/MBA
