Lead Data Scientist As a Lead Data Scientist here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in driving data-driven insights and analytics to optimize operational efficiency and improve decision-making within the Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) organization. You will utilize your expertise in machine learning, computer vision, and generative AI skills to develop and implement advanced algorithms and AI solutions. Your knowledge in edge computing and manufacturing will be a plus in addressing specific challenges in these areas. You will report directly to Director of AI and you'll work out of our Bangalore, India location on a hybrid work schedule.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Lead the development and implementation of advanced algorithms and analytical solutions using machine learning, computer vision, and general AI skills.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address business challenges and align data science initiatives with overall business objectives.
• Manage end-to-end data science projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and the successful delivery of actionable insights.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior data scientists, fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture.
• Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex data challenges and generate valuable insights.

8+ years of experience in data science, with a focus on leading complex projects and delivering impactful solutions.
Experience in deep learning, computer vision, and Gen AI.
Proven experience in developing and implementing deep learning models for image and video analysis, including RCNNs and Transformer-based architectures.
Experience working with RAG technologies and LLM frameworks (Langchain and LlamaIndex), LLM model registries (Hugging Face), LLM APIs, embedding models, and vector databases
Employ technical knowledge and hands-on experience with Azure OpenAI, Google Vertex AI, and AWS LLM foundational models.
