Your Impact

• Design, develop and implement highly scalable software features on our SDWAN solution
• Design and implementation of large distributed systems
• Database design and implementation for custom use cases, graph and time-series databases & in-memory databases
• Work with different development and quality assurances groups to achieve the best quality
• Suggest and implement improvements to the development process. Work with DevOps and the Technical Support teams to troubleshoot customer issues
• Mentor and coach team members

Your Experience

• 10+ years of career-level software development experience
• Strong leadership skills with a can-do attitude
• High energy and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Enjoys working with many different teams with strong collaboration and communications skills
• Experience building highly available, scalable and performant systems
• Fast learner and eager to absorb new emerging technologies
• Experience with Large Scale Distributed systems with service oriented architecture
• Good exposure and experience with REST API definition and implementation
• Experience with building and running containerized applications in distributed environments such as kubernetes
• Experience with messaging infra like Kafka, AWS SQS
• Extensive hands-on programming skills in Java and Python
• Knowledge of multi-core/multi-process/multi-threaded programming
• Cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, GCE, Kubernetes Virtualization, such as ESXi, KVM, Hyper-V
• Good experience with SQL and/or No-SQL databases
• Application layer protocol experience with one or more of the following HTTP, SMTP, SIP
• Experience and exposure to networking technologies like TCP/IP, routing protocols, DNS, DHCP would be an added advantage
• M.E./B.E. degree in Computer Science/Engineering
