Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in different engagements solving complex problems and advising clients on global trade issues
  • Providing advice in the areas of customs, excise, environmental duties, trade sanctions and other restrictions, import/export formalities, licensing/permission regimes, INCOTERMS, supply chain organization, etc.
  • Preparing reports, schedules and tax forms that will be delivered to clients and other parties
  • Stay updated in current changes in tax laws and regulations and future trends
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations as needed and develop and maintain productive working relationships with client representatives
  • Preparation and review of tax returns and related filings and documents
  • Working with various local and international institutions
  • Supervising and guiding junior members of the team
  • Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, working in preparing / reviewing different tax products, maintaining communication and updating management team members on progress

Qualifications:

  • University degree in Law, Accounting, Finance, Economics, International Economic Relations Trade, Energy, Environment or another related field
  • Previous experience on a similar position is a must
  • Very good knowledge of legislation and professional standards in the relevant field of work.
  • Excellent skills and experience in working with clients, independently conducting effective written and verbal communication
  • Skills for independently preparing reports and opinions for clients
  • Skills for properly prioritizing and organizing multiple commitments simultaneously. monitoring project progress and arising difficulties and providing timely feedback to the team manager
  • Strong verbal communication and writing skills both in Bulgarian and English
  • Proficiency in MS Office package and ability to adopt new technologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in the field will be considered an advantage
