What you'll do...

As part of the Health Horizontal Infrastructure – Identity team, you’ll be responsible for designing and implementing patient identity foundation platform using microservices. You’ll independently handle high impact & critical software/systems, monitoring issues, troubleshoot business and production issues.

What you'll do:

• As a Senior Software Engineer , you’ll spend your days translating requirements into solutions, writing code and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• You’ll lead other engineers in the team who will look to you as a trusted advisor, a subject matter expert who provides guidance and the right tools to get the job done
• Participates in the discovery phase of small to medium-sized projects to come up with high level design by partnering with architects, product management and user experience teams.

What you'll bring:

• Demonstrated Expert level knowledge of the following programming Languages: Java, Kafka streaming, NoSQL. Build Manager (Maven), Distributed Version Control (GIT), functional automation testing (Cucumber or Karate) experience.
• Have proficient knowledge and experience with RESTful webservices, Kafka Queues, Cosmos, Json, Cassandra
• Solid knowledge of OOPs concepts, spring and design patterns.A disciplined approach to development, code review, exception handling, testing, documentation, and code structure in a team environment
• Knowledge of technologies used in building scalable, distributed systems in virtualized cloud environments.

• Ability to design for fault tolerance and high availability.
• Solid devops skills in troubleshooting live applications, assessing performance bottlenecks of applications running on cloud.

• Good to have experience and understanding of standard data formats and elements like FHIR/HL7 for exchanging electronic health records (EHR).

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.Option 2: 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
