Description
You will be responsible for delivering new natural language capabilities through state-of-the-art Machine Learning techniques. Use your creativity to explore how technology can lead to new user experiences. The role includes learning about new models and figuring out how to productize them to run on all Apple hardware. Design systems to support model inference with overrides and asset downloads. Integrate devices with cloud-based services. Analyze performance and optimize in complex multi-process environments.
Minimum Qualifications
  • MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent degree with 5+ years of industry experience
  • Experienced in application development with Swift and C++
  • Familiarity with Machine Learning and Python
  • Skilled at optimization
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Deep understanding of Apple frameworks
  • Strong API design
  • Familiarity with natural language processing
  • Experience working in Unix
  • Familiarity with client/server protocols
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
