Role Overview:
The Human Resource Generalist will provide the full spectrum of HR administration, support and service delivery. This role reports to the Human Resources Director, Japan.
you will manage:
- Health insurance related tasks for the employees and their family
- Special collection, delivery of local tax notification to employees
- Year-end tax adjustment
- Track medical checkup and submit reports to the Labour office
- Complete application form from educational organisations
- Issue iDeCo (individual-type Defined Contribution pension plan) application form
- Check attendance report for payment of overtime
- Maintain a monthly attendance report for payment of commutation allowance to employees
- A go-between for Payroll vendor and the employees
- Undertake ad-hoc project assignments, initiatives and admin related tasks, as required
- Knowledge of MS Office, HRIS (e.g. Oracle) will be a plus
- Strong people skills and able to work in a fast-paced environment with diverse groups
- Excellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to communicate confidently and clearly with a wide range of stakeholders
- Aptitude in problem-solving and resolving issues promptly
- Desire to work as a team with a result driven approach
- Tactful in handling sensitive and confidential situations and information
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
