Be responsible for providing your engineering technician expertise on a variety of projects and programs for exciting new technologies in the field of Atmospheric Sensing and LiDAR. You will serve as a lead technician with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and scientists.

YOU MUST HAVE
- Associate Degree or Military training
- 5+ Years of experience in a technician role
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must possess basic computer skills.
- Strong knowledge of basic circuitry and electronic theory.
- Proficient in reading and implementing complex schematics and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of test equipment, e.g. multi-meters, and oscilloscopes.
- Proven expertise in electrical and mechanical systems troubleshooting and repair
- The ability to work in a lab environment, occasionally lifting (up to 35 lb.).
- Proficiency with hand tools.
- The ability to work outside.
- The ability to work occasional overtime.
- The ability to travel occasionally (<10%).
WE VALUE
- Experience in Mechanical drafting, creating and modifying electrical system schematics
- Experience assembling, wiring, and commissioning electro-mechanical systems
- Experience writing and modifying testing and operational procedures
- Experience working with fabricators to design, build, and implement basic test fixtures.
- Experience designing and 3D printing brackets and fixtures.
