Job Description:

As a Manufacturing Warehouse Operator, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment
• Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records
• Operate forklift and company trucks as required to ensure expedient material delivery
• The Warehouse Operator, in a support role, will help identifying and properly managing hazardous waste in the work area according to the hazardous waste training provided
• Performs safety inspections throughout facility – Defibrillators, first aid kits, eye wash/showers, fire extinguishers
• Orders and re-supplies department consumables

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Possess a High School Diploma / GED or higher (completed prior to start)
• Minimum 2 years of Warehouse Operations experience in a private, public, government or military environment

Applicants meeting the basic qualifications above may be required to take and pass 3M elected testing as part of the selection process.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Experience using shipping portals such as FedEx/UPS
• SAP or other ERP systems
• Must be able to navigate on a computer using programs such as Microsoft Word or Excel
