Your Key Responsibilities

As a Financial Controller at EY you will:

  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of financial statements in accordance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensurerobust internal controls and compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Analyze financial performance and provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support organizational goals and objectives.

We are looking for someone with a relevant higher education, ideally in accounting, business administration, or a similar field. You likely have 3-5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in a medium/large-sized corporation, and you’re familiar with ERP systems and financial software (e.g., SAP). Professional certifications such as CPA or CMA are preferred.

To succeed in the role, it is advantageous that you have:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Interest in staying up-to date with accounting standards, and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and best practices.
  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of international financial regulations and compliance.
  • Proven track record in financial management and reporting.
  • Experience in coordinating external audits and managing financial compliance.
