Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- You will support the Team by understanding priorities and safety requirements
- Respond to all calls promptly, which includes being on-call on a rotating basis
- Be able to solve major problems, either mechanical, technical, or customer relations.
- Issue work permits for on-site third-party vendors
- Maintain all service tools and equipment in good working condition and arrange for repair or replacement
- Perform risk assessments for any jobs
- Local travel to different sites; a company vehicle is provided
- Safety conscious always.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in facility maintenance
- Minimum 4th class ABSA Power Engineering certification
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean record
- Must pass required enhanced security checks.
WE VALUE
- Trade certificate such as Plumbing, Mechanical, HVAC, Millwright, Electrical etc.
- Strong knowledge of safety practices and working in industrial applications
- Working in a team environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills that enhance promoting good customer relations, discussing problems, making recommendations, and preparing required reports
- Independent worker and a self-starter with a hands-on focus
- Computer proficiency – Computerized Maintenance Management System - QFM
