Perform applied materials research into new metallic materials for emerging product design needs Support failure analysis, material characterization, and material modeling activities across all product lines
- Enrolled in Bachelors/Masters/PhD studies in Material Science, Mechanical engineering or related field
- Knowledge of physical metallurgy and basic design principles
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
- Laboratory experience with metal alloys and structure-property relationships, including design of experiments and data analysis
- Familiarity with computational thermodynamics and materials design, including machine learning approaches
- Ability to work in fast paced, team-based environment
- Interest in Apple and materials product design as a career after graduation
