As a Business Analytics Analyst you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Harnessing a freedom to choose methods within broadly defined processes and tools to produce desired results supporting business strategy and growth.
• Leverage database and systems knowledge and technical expertise to generate new analytics tools and analyses for IATD.
• Lead development and support existing forecasting and review tools (PowerApps and databases) and reporting functionality (PowerBI).
• Coordinate and collaborate with other functions and analytics leaders in the company to provide new data visibility and integrated reporting.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and work with leaders to drive alignment and implement solutions.
• Support the Global Marketing Operations team with special projects as needed.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
• Three (3) years planning and analysis, business analytics, or software development in a private, public, government or military environment.
• Experience with forecasting system design and reporting development.
• Development experience with PowerApps, Databases, and PowerBI.
• Experience implementing Integrated Business Planning tools.
• Experience with the Sources of Growth (SOG) tool utilized by SIBG.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
• Experience with software and design of user interfaces and reporting.
• Strong Microsoft Office suite skills in particular Excel, PowerPoint and PowerBI.
• Skilled at combining datasets.
• Ability to work independently.
• Demonstrates a sense of urgency.
