Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 15 years of experience with one or more optical technologies such as client transceivers, optical metro, DWDM systems, or submarine systems.
- Experience with Network Architecture, Network Configuration, Network Operations, Optical Engineering and Operations, Network Design, Telecommunications, Collaboration, and Decision Making.
- Experience with planning and designing networks (e.g., multiple sites, multiple products, etc.).
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in one or more programming languages such as C++, Go, or Python.
- Experience with network equipment manufacturer or network operator in engineering or design role.
- Experience with Team Building, Organizational Skills, Articulate Presenter, and Network Diagnostics.
