Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing corporate tax returns, local business tax returns, innovation contribution returns, deferred tax calculations, statistical reports, and reports for the Hungarian National Bank, as well as developing supporting analytics and calculations and reconciling them;
• Liaising with clients and authorities;
• Supporting clients with other direct tax-related issues (e.g., handling authority inquiries, notifications, and reconciling tax accounts);
• Supporting and coordinating junior colleagues;
• Participating in automation projects.

We are looking for you if:

• You have at least 2 years of work experience in direct taxes, gained at another consulting firm, accounting office (at a multinational company), or tax authority;
• You have a higher education degree in economics;
• You are precise, accurate, and take pride in your work;
• You have good problem-solving skills and are proactive;
• You are confident in using MS Excel and MS Word;
• You can communicate in Hungarian at an advanced level
• You can communicate in English at an intermediate level, both verbally and in writing;
• You enjoy working in a team and aiding the development of younger colleagues;
