As a Data Analyst Apprentice, you'll be part of a dynamic team that leverages cutting-edge technologies to unravel complex data sets and uncover valuable insights. Your role will involve collecting, organising, and analysing data from various sources, using advanced analytical tools and techniques. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their requirements and deliver data-driven solutions that address real-world business challenges.A day in the life can involve:
• Diving into diverse data sets, cleansing and transforming them into structured formats for analysis.
• Leveraging powerful data visualisation tools to bring information to life, creating compelling visualisations that tell a story.
• Collaborating with stakeholders across the organisation, understanding their needs and translating them into actionable insights.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and developments and participating in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and knowledge-sharing activities to foster a culture of continuous learning.Data Analyst Apprentices are passionate individuals who thrive on turning complex information into meaningful insights. A key requirement for this role is exceptional attention to detail when managing and analysing large datasets to ensure data accuracy and quality. Critical thinking and problem-solving are also essential, as you’ll be tasked with diving into diverse information sets, cleansing and transforming them, and then leveraging data tools to uncover valuable insights. The ability to communicate effectively, quickly adapt to changing priorities and collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to understand their needs and translate them into actionable solutions is also crucial to enable you to deliver data-driven solutions and be successful in your role.You will gain a vast range of useful experiences and skills whilst working towards the BSc (Hons) Digital and Technology Solutions (Data Analysis Pathway) Degree. As a working student your focus is to complete your studies in your 20% off the job time by learning and developing your skills, knowledge and behaviours to work towards successful graduation. You will be set goals by your training provider and manager to support your studies.
Please note: As part of your off-the-job learning, you may be required to travel to a training centre. This location may differ from your primary work base. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

For the apprenticeship programme we prioritise applicants eligible to government funding for their apprenticeship and for this you need to:
- Be 18 years or over before the start date
- Have the right to live and work in England (if you are on a visa, this needs to enable you to legally work and reside in England for the entire duration of the program).
- Have lived in the UK or in the European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 years
- Be a resident of the UK for the entire duration of the program
- Not be registered to study on a UK government funded course ending August 2025 or later
- Have at least 5 GCSEs C grade (grade 4) or above including Maths and English plus any of the following: 2 A Level passes in 1 or more similar subject, OR Level 3 apprenticeship in a similar subject, OR International Baccalaureate at Level 3 in a similar subject, OR BTEC Extended Diploma in a similar subject.PLEASE NOTE: This position is a 42month fixed-term contract.You must NOT already have a qualification in a similar subject at the same or higher level than this apprenticeshipPlease note, you will be required to evidence your qualifications. If you have gained qualifications outside of the UK you will be required to evidence that they are equivalent.Note: This Apprenticeship assumes the candidate has some or little knowledge/experience of the occupation, and is NOT suitable for candidates who already have a similar or higher-level qualification in the same or similar subject of the apprenticeship.
