Key job responsibilities
• Partner with Amazon Security Finance and its customers to gather requirements, and collaborate with technology partners to design scalable data pipelines and dashboards.
• Solve complex business problems by supporting the Amazon Security organization through various ad-hoc reporting, analyses, and data processing needs.
• Drive the BI solution, development, and maintenance of innovative and scalable data products across the organization, with the highest standards of analytical rigor and data integrity.
• Responsible for data quality, data lineage, and has a solid understanding of the sources of data and how these are consumed by customers.

- 10+ years of professional or military experience
- 5+ years of SQL experience
- Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets
- Experience with AWS technologies
- Experience with theory and practice of information retrieval, data science, machine learning and data mining
- Proficient in writing complex SQL queries
- Experience gathering business requirements, using industry standard business intelligence tool(s) to extract data, formulate metrics and build reports
- Experience with one or more industry analytics visualization tools (e.g. Excel, Tableau, QuickSight, MicroStrategy, PowerBI)
