Minimum Qualifications
  • 3+ years software development experience designing and building complex, highly available, large scale web applications.
  • 3+ years in front end development using HTML5, CSS3, JS & one or more JavaScript frameworks like NextJS, React, or equivalent.
  • Excellent knowledge of server side programming languages & frameworks in both Javascript (Node.js, Express) and Python (Django, Flask).
  • Experience with API usage and development using REST and/or GraphQL.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • - Experience in web analytics, accessibility, standards, and security.
  • - Strong understanding of TypeScript and the latest ECMAScript standards.
  • - Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) for development, testing, and deployment of applications.
  • Familiarity with messaging platforms like Kafka.
  • Experience designing and publishing Python libraries using the latest PEP best practices
  • Proficient in software development best practices, including version control with Git, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
  • Experience with OAuth2, JWT, and other authentication and authorization mechanisms.
  • Strong problem solving skills, with the ability to work in a dynamic and agile environment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teams located in different locations.
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $214,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
