As a Software Development Engineer in Test II, you will be responsible for:

• Developing test cases based on feature design and code changes.
• Working in an Agile team and collaborating closely with developers.
• Building and using object-oriented automation frameworks.
• Programming in Python or Java, with Python as an advantage.
• Automating REST/Open APIs across projects.
• Bringing industry best practices to the team and projects.
• Reviewing developers' code and investigating root causes of technical issues.
• Documenting defects and tracking/testing status regularly.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Have experience programming in Python and working with APIs.
• Have 2+ years of experience as a QA engineer, working with server and network-related technologies.
• Have meticulous attention to detail and excellent debugging/troubleshooting skills.
• Have experience in Linux and Exposure to networking concepts and web technologies such as HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP.
• Have 1+ year of hands-on experience working in a Linux environment.
• Have a good understanding of testing methodologies: white box, black box, functional, automated, and performance testing.
