Manufacturing Process Engineer responsibilities include:- Review and provide feedback on design/design intent of components and assemblies.- Develop new and/or improved processes for parts and assemblies through the application of theoretical and practical engineering. - Drive design experiments to prove out manufacturing processes or design iterations.- Design for Manufacturability - Provide early and on going manufacturing involvement to ensure new products are mechanically manufacturable. - Process Engineering - Design and develop technically complex processes to improve quality and efficiency- Provide creative solutions for engineering challenges or issues related to assembly process
  • Creative problem solving experience
  • Experience in process development/bring up and qualification
  • Program/project management experience
  • Manufacturing or supplier management experience
  • Working knowledge of GD&T and Engineering Drawing Interpretation
  • Design of Experiments, statistical process control methods and theory
  • Good command of Excel and JMP
  • Knowledge of Metrology design and Optical/Contact Measurement Equipment is preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Mandarin or Korean language skills are a plus but not required
  • Strong Team Player
BS (MS preferred) in mechanical, materials or chemical engineering
