The position
As a Python web developer, you will design and develop the required tools and automations to support the group's projects and to enhance its productivity.
What will your job look like:
- Taking part in the design, development, deployment and maintenance of all software solutions in DC group.
- Improving the efficiency of the dev team by creating & maintaining shared libraries and modules.
- Supporting the group members (in Israel and abroad) in their daily usage of the team's automated tools.
- Investigating the manual workflows in DC, to identify where creative automated solutions must take part.
- Learning new scopes and disciplines in the software development field to enhance the dev team's impact.
- Working together with other dev & product teams (matrix organizational support) for cross-project tasks.
All you need is:
- B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in Full Stack development with Python (back-end) and JavaScript (front-end) - a must
- Required frameworks: Django and React - a must
- Fluent English: spoken and written - a must
- Strong knowledge and experience with Linux (shell) and Git
- Experience in SQL databases, Docker, Jira and Jenkins – significant advantage
- Independence, ability to learn new material quickly
- Multi-tasking skills
