Skills and attributes for success

• Lead engagements and develop work program timelines, risk assessments, budgets and other planning documents

To qualify for the role you must have

• A bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, computer science, information systems or a related discipline
• A minimum of 8 years of related work experience in a public accounting firm, a professional services firm, or comparable experience as anIT External or Internal Auditorto a financial services company
• A CPA, CIA, CISA, CISM, CISSP, CMA or other service line relevant professional certification
• Experience in managing and delivering complex and global external IT Audits (FAIT) on major Banking, Asset Management, and Insurance clients
• Hands on experience in managing and delivering IT general controls (ITGC) and IT automated controls audit
• A track record of leading and delivering a portfolio of IT external audit clients and to deliver this portfolio to time, cost and high audit quality
• Experience in managing and delivering client engagements including scoping, financial management, managing delivery risk, production, quality and review of deliverables
• A hands on approach to build and maintain excellent relationships across a range of FS clients and other stakeholders
• Experience within the Financial Services industry and a good understanding of the FS technology landscape
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills
• Excellent leadership, teamwork and client service skills
• Demonstrated integrity within a professional environment
• The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary

• An eagerness and track record in establishing and leading high-performance teams and supporting and coaching individual team members
