As an Executive Director in Custody Operations team, you will report to the Head of Asia Pacific Custody Operations and lead a team responsible for functional coverage across global and direct custody and managed funds operations. You will ensure adherence to critical business and client service level agreements, regulatory requirements, and exchange protocols. Your role will involve developing custody operations infrastructure, building relationships with senior stakeholders, and overseeing resiliency and talent initiatives. Job responsibilities:
- Lead Asia Pacific Asset Servicing Operations across Global and Direct Custody and Managed Funds
- Ensure adherence to business and client service level agreements and regulatory requirements
- Develop Custody Operations infrastructure both tactically and strategically
- Build strong relationships with business, product, technology, and compliance stakeholders
- Participate in client reviews and presentations
- Oversee resiliency, people agenda, and talent initiatives
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience within the Financial Service industry
- Proven leadership skills managing teams across multiple locations and time zones
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trust with business leaders
- Prior exposure to the Hong Kong regulatory environment, rules and exchange protocols
- Strong control mindset and analytical skills
- Experience with digital tools and data management
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Prior experience in Asset Servicing and/or Managed Funds Operations will be an advantage
- Proficiency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese will be beneficial to communicate with stakeholders and clients in the Greater China region
