1. Coach experienced Claim Consultants to identify client needs and develop strategies for dealing with claim and service request enterprise wide.
2. Handle all claims within the upper and Jumbo segments with little direct supervision.
3. Act as a vertical industry leader within the claims team.5. Develop and/or contribute to the preparation of and/ or response to service requests, RFPs and the development of client service proposals.
6. Meet quality, quantity, and timeliness standards in a highly self-managed team environment.
7. Perform projects; provide on-site or other forms claim consulting to assist clients in accordance with service agreements, including periodic claim reviews.
8. Document claim case studies and consultative interactions with clients.10. Train and develop staff within specialized industry verticals; Perform administrative tasks associated with managing an experienced corporate team of claim professionals.The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. 1. Bachelor's degree
2. Fifteen years of experience in commercial property and casualty claims management role
3. Insurance Adjuster's License
4. Prior brokerage experience
5. Familiarity with case laws and claim resolution practices that affect various industries including jurisdictional statues
6. Specialization and in-depth knowledge within an industry vertical
7. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with others to explain complex issues, receive and interpret information, and respond appropriately
8. Ability to understand insurance policies, contracts, written and verbal communication in English and interpret abstract information
9. Experience making professional presentations and writing technical reports
10. Continuing Education and professional associations to stay abreast of insurance claims matters
11. Ability to carry out complex tasks with many concrete and abstract variables; Ability to utilize computer programs and understand their functionality to include Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
12. Experience navigating the Internet and seeking other sources for resources and research
13. Associate in Risk Management (ARM) or Associate in Claims (AIC) designation
1. Multi-line claim experience
2. Knowledge of insurance underwriting, loss control and claims processes
