As part of our EY - Business Consulting Team, you will be part of teams that help our Global Wealth, Asset Management and Investment Banking clients with scaling their capital market operations across their middle and back office functions. This includes working with the clientele to setup their Global Delivery Centers and a reliable and scalable operating model that will enable their requirements and growth. Additionally, this role requires focus and contributions on Performance Improvement initiatives at an engagement/project level. This includes techno-functional role conducting finance processes assessments, deep diving and analysing pain areas and coming up with solutions.
ey responsibilities :
- Maintain and oversee daily time weighted rate of return & Money-Weighted Rate of Return calculations across the enterprises performance book of record
- Produce recurring and ad hoc reporting to support a broad array of business requirements and use cases
- Investigated and resolved daily reconciliation breaks between accounting and performance systems, ensuring accuracy of holdings, valuations, and benchmark alignment.
- Investigate and answer questions from internal stakeholders related to performance calculation methods and reporting observations
- Analysed portfolio vs. benchmark returns, NAV movements, and performance ratios to assess investment effectiveness and identify drivers of excess return.
- Prepared and validated daily to quarterly GIPS-compliant performance and attribution reports, supporting portfolio managers and risk teams with accurate return and volatility insights.
- Escalate risks promptly and participate in resolution actions
- Contribute to the upkeep of procedural documentation identify improvements to create scale, reduce risk and add value
- Leveraged platforms such as Bloomberg, Aladdin, FactSet, Morningstar, Capital IQ, and Eikon for market intelligence, securities validation, and performance benchmarking support.
