The annual base salary or/ hourly pay range for this position is $86,400.00 - $108,000.00. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct experiments to develop new catalyst products for petrochemicals, sustainable fuels, and traditional refining to improve energy utilization and maximize yield for our worldwide customer base.
- Develop expertise in key manufacturing technologies including but not limited to zeolite synthesis, catalyst forming, metals deposition and heat treatment.
- Complete hands-on laboratory bench scale and larger scale experimental work and indirectly supervise laboratory technicians on carrying out required experimental plans.
- Fundamental understanding of catalyst science and how catalyst properties relate to performance.
- Interface with other UOP departments including other divisions of Research and Development, Pilot Plant Group, Analytical and Advanced Characterization, Business, and Catalyst Manufacturing Plants to ensure robust products for our customers.
- Participate in all departmental safety activities and conduct all work with a high degree of attention to safety.
- Utilize six-sigma tools as necessary to implement project work.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor Degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with catalyst synthesis or evaluation

- Experience in laboratory operations and running lab scale equipment.
