Service Design Leadership: Drive Service Design (Installation, Calibration, Serviceability, Preventive Maintenance, Service Features, Remote Troubleshooting, Software Downloads, and Fixes) for Premium CT product platforms and implementation within product design.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Cross-Functional Service teams, Product Leadership, LSDs, Principal Engineers, Architects, and the Service Organization to define strategies for developing effective service requirements based on customer needs, translating them into technical specifications and product design.
Service Strategy Implementation: Lead and drive service strategies and DFS across Premium CT product teams. Collaborate across functions and team boundaries to implement service design and practices into NPI programs.
Roadmap Development: Work with peers in Service and other MICT architects to develop, maintain, and drive the Premium CT service roadmap.
Process Improvement Advocacy: Define and advocate for service process and tool improvements within Service.
Requirement Refinement: Collaborate with Service Operations, Modality Service Engineering, and field personnel to refine service requirements for implementation by engineering teams.
Design Recommendations: Make design recommendations to improve serviceability and resolve conflicting requirements. Suggest refinements, streamlining, and automation of service procedures.
Advanced Analytics: Develop and implement plans for advanced Service analytics and troubleshooting methods for Premium CT.
Mentorship: Support and mentor junior technical talent and service engineers.
Standards Implementation: Accountable for implementing and teaching service engineering standards.
Technical Expertise: Leverage advanced knowledge in technical/functional areas (TDRs, FMEAs) and apply technical theory and practical experience to solve complex problems.
Independent Work: Work independently with a level of functional expertise necessary to influence. Ensure project deliverables align with the goals of larger programs or initiatives
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in STEM with a minimum of 5 years engineering experience.
Demonstrated experience with requirements management, quality management systems, and regulatory compliance processes.
Proven engineering experience to drive technical decision-making for lower-risk programs/projects.
Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and leading engineering activities.
Experience in a matrix organization with strong influencing and negotiation skills.
