In this role you will be responsible for project delivery, design management & project management, for positioning and winning projects involving a range of services. The role will be instrumental in collaborating with commercial, project management, engineering and design technical leaders to create opportunities for Jacobs to plan, develop, deliver and operate a range of projects.
Role / Job description:
- The Automation Engineer is assigned to a project as a key member of the automation design team, he/she is responsible for the proper selection as defined in technical and specialty skills. He/she preferably having following skills.
- Ensure the timely completion of all project specifications, System Architecture DCS, PLC /SCADA , Datasheets, schedules , designs, and drawings for project assigned.
- Carry out review of vendor’s bids and drawings / documentation for technical acceptability.
- Provide technical assistance to other design groups as necessary.
- Having experience in automation with high level integration for Lithium-ion Battery Cell Production / PV solar Process including full conversant with Lithium-Ion Battery Cell Production / PV Solar Process
- Direct and Articulated Digital Roadmaps and uplifted manufacturing technology standards, IT/OT Cyber Security Compliance, and Automation Best practices with Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Experience in the field of Automation (Equipment or Material Handling) would be an advantage.
- Experience in Project Management in the field of Factory Digitalization would be an advantage.
- Must having 12+ experience in automation with different level of integration and coordination with OEM and IT for high level enterprise integration.
Skills:
- Self-driven with good management & reporting capabilities.
- Knowledge of ISA / IEC standards.
- Conversant with HAZOP / LOPA/ SIL
Software Competency:
- Application of other supporting software like Bluebeam, Adobe Acrobat.
- Competent user of MS Office 365: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Core Strengths:
- A degree in BE/B. Tech in Instrumentation / Electronics Engineering Discipline with Minimum 12-15 years of experience in handling Process Automation activities for Industrial / chemical projects.
- Having experience in Automation with high level integration for Lithium-ion Battery Cell Production Process or PV solar Production Process
- Knowledge of Factory Monitoring Control System (FMCS) is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Industry 4.0 with different level of integration
- Direct and Articulated Digital Roadmaps and uplifted manufacturing technology standards, IT/OT Cyber Security Compliance, and Automation Best practices with Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Must having experience in automation with different level of integration and coordination with OEM and IT for high level enterprise integration.
- Hands on experience of Indian and International codes for the design.
