1st shift (United States of America)Responsible for providing support to the Regional Acceptance (RAC) Recovery Department, which may include completing monthly reporting, new charge-off load and distribution processes and maintaining day-to-day aspects of vendor relationships (e.g. collection agencies/skip-repo vendors). Facilitate all audit, invoicing and process compliance functions.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

1. Complete monthly reporting and new charge-off load and distribution processes maintaining accuracy of new upload, Charge off codes and statuses.

2. Process account distribution and assignment to direct reports.

3. Maintain the day-to-day aspects of vendor relationships (e.g. collection agencies/skip-repo vendors), including managing information flow to and from vendors, documentation requests, account status updates or changes and weekly forecasts.

4. Facilitate all audits, invoicing and process compliance functions, vendor performance reviews, annual and monthly vendor compliance audits, reviewing, approving and/or escalating vendor invoices.

5. Assist with other special projects or duties as needed.

6. Post approved forgiveness of debt and judgment information to system of record accurately and according to current policy and procedure Responsible for reviewing repossessions, charge-off, and account changes (i.e. adjustments, payment arrangements/settlements) according to policy guidelines within policies and procedures.

8. Responsible for managing a Teammates career path by executing on hiring, coaching, performance ratings, and progressive discipline.

9. Manage the day to day activity of attendance tracking. Monitor systems and/or production reports daily, monitoring performance and making recommendations for areas of improvement including.

10. Responsible for identifying Teammates that are below agreed upon KPI (key performance indicators) and coach appropriately.

11. Maintain monthly reporting on recovery dollars collected by Teammates, collection agencies and attorneys.

12. Cross-train in all areas of RAC recovery operations and assist in other areas as needed.

Required Qualifications:

1. High School diploma or equivalent

2. One year of experience as a recovery Teammate

3. One year of experience working with vendor partners

4. Effective verbal and written communication skills

5. High level of interpersonal skills

6. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products

7. Ability to travel, occasionally overnight

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Knowledge of internal systems
