The Maintenance Scheduler’s primary responsibility is to generate a detailed weekly schedule that assures site wide quality repairs and work can be performed safely and efficiently. Job scope will include identifying the labor requirements, materials, special tools, equipment, and sequence of job steps required to accomplish a given task. This role will require strong collaboration with production, design, and controls teams to ensure nuanced activities are accurately positioned.

• Interface with various layers of Leadership, highlighting status of PM/Work Order System and current priority of repairs
• Works directly with Maintenance Planner and operations team with clear communication to execute on planned maintenance activities
• Uses work order and issue management systems effectively (CMMS, Spares Inventory, Issue Tracking)
• Manages planned downtime activity – prioritizes labor and resourcing accordingly
• Work with cross-functional groups to resolve maintenance issues, improve equipment reliability, review procedures, and minimize equipment downtime
• Collaborate in the development of data driven projects to increase Equipment Reliability
• Duties as assigned to assist in the growth towards World Class Maintenance

• Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
• Skilled with common workplace software (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.), Excel VBA or SQL experience is a plus
• Ability to effectively prioritize with strong time management skills in a fast-paced environment
• Proven leadership ability and strong communication skills
• Basic skills and understanding in electrical, mechanical, plumbing troubleshooting and repair
• Balance preventive maintenance work schedules while providing timely customer service on reactive work orders
• Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal

Essential Physical Demands

• Ability to climb stairs, stand for extended periods, and safely lift up to 50 lbs.
• Perform frequent bending and lifting
• Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for extended periods, including a respirator and safety harness
• Pass pulmonary function tests and physical exam for respirator use and be prepared to potentially be in a fit test program
