Responsibilities:
- Facilitate ERM interactions with regulators like OCC and FRB. That includes developing content for ongoing quarterly reviews and responses to ad hoc inquiries.
- Coordinate efforts to close MRI/MRIA (in and out of consent order) ensuring consistent approach across ERM.
- Execute quality reviews for closure of MRAs and other external and 3rd LOD and 2nd LOD sourced issues. Identify and escalate potential hurdles to avoid re-targeting.
- Maintain strong issue management culture across ERM spearheading efforts to self-identify problems and remediate long dated issues.
- Provide coordination and quality control of actual responses to inquiries from IA and US Regulatory Agencies,
- Coordinate preparation for and conduct of regulatory and IA exams in accordance with Global Regulatory Exam Management & Oversight Standard
- Provide oversight and guidance over the assessment of complex issues, structuring potential solutions and driving effective resolution with other stakeholders.
- Help ERM Pillars prepare for IA reviews and provide guidance throughout the exam.
- Partner and collaborate and working with other areas within Citi, as necessary. That includes close collaborating with IA and 2nd LOD partners in MRM, ICRM and ORM.
- Keeping abreast of regulatory changes, new regulations and internal policy changes in order to further identify new key risk areas.
- Ensure the identification of issue root cause, partnering with control and process owners to recommend holistic corrective actions and improvements, provide check and challenge to ensure appropriate escalation in according with Issue Management and Escalation Policies.
Key Requirements and Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience
- Experience liaising with senior stakeholders and developing executive level presentations
- Proven ability to drive results and meet deadlines
- Understanding of program management concepts and best practices
- Highly motivated with attention to detail, team oriented, organized, pro-active
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred.
