Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ years experience in software development.
- Track record of building and shipping complex and delightful applications or user-facing systems on consumer platforms (mobile/gaming/etc.).
- Extensive experience in modern software engineering practices (Object-oriented programming, functional programming, declarative user interfaces, test driven-development, etc).
- Excellent communication skills; ability to collaborate successfully with peers from diverse experiences and backgrounds.
- Ability to drive results in a fast-paced and agile organization.
- Experience using Apple frameworks and technologies (such as UIKit, Swift, SwiftUI, RealityKit, Core Animation, AVFoundation)
Preferred Qualifications
- Interest or proficiency in augmented reality, and/or virtual reality.
- Interest or proficiency in spatial design, UI/UX design, and UX for AR/VR experiences.
- Experience with 3D math/linear algebra, 3D graphics, game engines.
- Rendering performance optimization experience.
- Experience with Unix development, daemons, cross-process communication, etc.
- Experience developing Unity/VR/AR applications and building 3D user interfaces.
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $199,800 and $300,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
