Wells Fargo Lead Treasury Analyst – Investment Portfolio Liquidity Management

In this role, you will:

  • Perform daily analysis and reporting of the firm’s Investment Portfolio activities, including liquidity stress testing, with a focus on understanding the business drivers as well as improving and automating processes
  • Provide insights into firm’s liquidity risks to help stakeholders make key decisions around reinvestment strategies and balance sheet optimization
  • Analyze Investment Portfolio activity under business-as-usual and stressed conditions to support stress testing assumptions
  • Product development of models & tools to capture various funding and liquidity risks impacting the firm’s Investment Portfolio activities
  • Help establish, calibrate and monitor key metrics to manage liquidity risk
  • Collaborate in a team environment to enhance efficiency of Risk Management and Regulatory Reporting processes and governance
  • Create presentation materials and maintain documentation suitable for Risk Committees, Board of Directors, and Regulators
  • Enhance the team’s control environment by identifying and remediating operational risk and gaps, as well as opportunities for automation of manual processes

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Treasury experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics or Business
  • 4+years of Finance, Corporate Treasury, Investment Portfolio / Capital Markets, Liquidity, or regulatory reporting experience
  • Familiarity with financial markets, bank and broker/dealer operations, capital, liquidity stress metrics
  • Familiarity with the securities markets, including secured funding agreements, and hedging strategies
  • Familiarity with general ledger and accounting policies, specifically related to securities accounting (AFS/HTM)
  • Familiarity with Regulations YY and WW, the FDIC LCR rule, and the 165d Final Guidance
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy, along with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to present complex concepts to senior management
  • Ability to lead projects with minimal supervision
  • Experience with SQL, PowerBI, Essbase/Smartview, or other querying/data platforms to create ad hoc reporting
