What to Expect As a Software Integration Engineer, you will work closely with test engineers to help them integrate their applications into our distributed system framework. You will develop hardware libraries and drivers, ensuring they are scalable and efficient. This role requires a strong understanding of both hardware and software, as you will be responsible for wrapping C/C++ code into services or writing drivers from scratch. You will support framework infrastructure, assist with deployments and automation, and collaborate with design validation and characterization teams. Given the distributed nature of our systems, you will need a solid understanding of computer networking, including VLANs and other network configurations. While the primary focus is software integration, there may be opportunities to expand into firmware development. The framework is written in Go, so experience with a statically typed language is essential.
