Job Description

What you should do

  • Consult with individuals seeking HR data to understand their business needs and identify the most effective, efficient, and compliant manner for the data to be delivered

  • Create and schedule periodic and ad-hoc reports utilizing

    Workday Report Writer

  • Build complex calculated fields (in Workday) to meet reporting requirements

  • Combine, transform and/or aggregate data from multiple HR data sources to fulfill report requests

  • Manage workload independently but collaborate with team members to find solutions and share knowledge

  • Collaborate with HR Operations colleagues to identify issues and solutions related to HR reporting and employee data quality

  • Workday Report Writer
    and calculated fields experience, preferably supporting a large
    Workday
    HCM tenant

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a high degree of initiative and creativity

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Attention to detail with ability to recognize data anomalies

  • Ability to seek direction when needed as well as work independently and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment

  • Understanding of and appreciation for basic data privacy concepts and principles (e.g., importance of securing data at rest and in transit, ensuring data is used in a way that is consistent with the intended purpose)

  • Advanced

    Workday
    reporting skills (Composite reports, Prism, Discovery Boards)

  • Experience with HR data and processes

  • Proficiency with data visualization (

    Excel
    graphs,
    Spotfire
    ,
    Visier
    )

  • Data joining and transformation, preferably with

    Alteryx

  • Coding experience with

    SQL
    ,
    python
    or
