A day in the life

  • Grow demand (New Business) across all product lines and all client segments:
    • Pipeline management
    • Focus on large brand customer and SME (brand direct) clients
    • Develop and grow the agency relationships
  • Focus on the top existing Key Accounts: maintain the relationships, attend QBR’s, act as an escalation point and ensure growth of these accounts through upselling.
  • Own the commercial framework, this includes defining and negotiating relevant client incentives (qualitative and quantitative) / contracts, as well as managing the internal approval processes
  • Adopt new-initiatives in order to increase demand spend across the market
  • Build and maintain strict budget management guidelines in order to meet cash contribution targets
  • Internal reporting
  • Manage and build a team of highly motivated, world-class sales and account managers.
  • Act as ‘office leader’: hiring, training, team activities.
  • Work with EVP, Publishers to align demand and supply strategy
  • Ensure collaboration across the EMEA Org (RevOps, Brand Studio, Growth, BI, CX, Finance, Content and Country Managers)
  • THE representative/face of Outbrain in the UK market: make Outbrain a market leader by appearing and organizing industry events, public appearances, conferences, to expose unique selling points and feedback to the team any learnings from market

What you’ll bring

  • Extensive experience in the UK Adtech industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role focused on agency and brand relations
  • Ideally proven sales track record in the Video as well as programmatic space
  • Proven track record of establishing, growing, and maintaining deep relationships with advertising agencies.
  • Strong business acumen and expertise in the Adtech ecosystem, especially relating to agency needs and customer centricity.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, adept at both high-level strategic conversations and detailed execution discussions.
  • Analytical thinker with a customer-centric attitude and a commitment to driving satisfaction and loyalty
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, inspire and drive urgency in a sales team to achieve targets.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Results-oriented mindset with a strategic approach to sales planning and execution.
  • Experience in utilizing sales analytics tools.
