In Compute organization, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting edge technology on ARM architecture. In this position you will be responsible for assisting enterprise customers with WoS compute product commercialization and support enterprise needs for a timely, faster, and smooth product evaluation. You will have the opportunity to show your strong customer support skills by resolving enterprise issues on WoS platform and applications.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support ISV’s and WOS (Windows on Snapdragon) customers with providing technical guidance on product features & enable them to adopt quickly.

  • Support testing/reproducing/analyzing and resolving technical issues with WOS products around Peripheral’s, Connectivity, system Stability, performance, and multimedia. This includes working with technology teams to provide a complete solution and/or solutions to the issues in timely manner.

  • Support setup complex end to end infrastructure to test applications. Develop end to end test plans to test complex applications mimicking customer setups. Develop plans for application compatibility, performance testing.

  • Support reproducing and debugging standalone app issues and applications involving complex infrastructure. Engage with internal teams, ISV’s and customers to resolve issues in timely manner.

  • Performs root cause analyses & debugs issues on customer software/hardware systems.

  • Supports in test development and execution activities on new OEM hardware. This including end to end testing and troubleshooting end to end issues.

  • Engage with customers to understand their design requirements, provide training, publish documents.

  • Interact with (SME) Subject Matter Experts to ensure the quality and accuracy of new features.

  • Designs, develops, troubleshoots, and debugs software programs/applications for enhancements and new products.

  • Develop tools and applications on Qualcomm platform that help debug and trouble shoot issues.

  • Preforming validation to make sure the platform compliance with interoperability with peripherals and applications.

Skills, Knowledge, & Expertise:

  • Strong knowledge of networks, Cloud, Databases, and webservers. Skilled in trouble shooting network issues.

  • Application development, debugging, testing with C/C++ & familiarity with embedded system software.

  • Experience with working and debugging issues in Window11 environment and tools preferred.

  • Software design/debugging techniques, problem solving, and documentation skills.

  • Experience with UEFI architecture and development (PEI, DXE, UEFI).

  • Debugging with tools such as WinDbg, JTAG, Trace32, or GDB.

  • Familiarity with Windows OS such as Windows drivers development or Windows debugging, or familiarity with Windows command lines tools such as PowerShell.

  • Strong knowledge of C/C++ programming. Experience on embedded HLOS & networking a plus.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.

• 2+ years of experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

• 1+ year of experience with debugging techniques.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

• 6+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.

• 1+ year of work experience in a role requiring interaction with leadership.

• Experience in a customer-facing role.

Pay range:

$140,000.00 - $210,000.00
