Key job responsibilities
The Senior Unified Endpoint Engineer in this role will be responsible for:
• The global technology strategy of products and services that sit within the User Device Engineering and Security teams.
• Review the current technology roadmaps and strategy and propose new solutions considering innovation, business drivers, and changes in the technology landscape.
• Serve as an expert in the field of operations and technology, and quickly develop a deep understanding of store Lines of business.
• Act as a leader to architect, design, build, resolve complex business requirements, implement best practices, and apply technical governance with a keen focus on the stores.
• Works closely with all facets of the teams as well as 3rd party vendor partners to ensure the business has a stable, predictable and efficiently defined domain.
• Drive infrastructure services vision, enable innovation, and leverage Amazon tech trends while providing input to technology roadmaps and strategies across a set of services.
• Drive transformational programs to improve operational efficiencies and direct / deliver enterprise technology.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems and hands-on systems engineering experience
- 1+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems)


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience automating and configuring systems using the Desired State Configuration (DSC) in a large enterprise environment
- Experience working in an Agile environment using the Scrum methodology
