Key Responsibilities:
• Manage end-to-end site execution of industrial steam turbine projects, including mechanical installation, alignment, commissioning, and handover.
• Lead and supervise on-site teams comprising internal supervisors, technicians, and external contractors.
• Coordinate with project engineering and planning teams to ensure alignment between design and execution.
• Ensure adherence to EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) standards during all site activities.
• Oversee installation resources, tools, and materials management at site.
• Monitor project progress against timelines, budget, and quality standards.
• Manage subcontractors and vendors – including evaluation, selection, negotiation, and performance monitoring.
• Provide technical guidance and hands-on support in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical installation and commissioning issues.
• Prepare and maintain site documentation including daily reports, and handover protocols.
• Identify and mitigate project risks through proactive planning and problem-solving.
• Support coordinate closely with OEMs and central engineering.
• Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned and feedback loops for future projects.

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 7-8 years of relevant experience in mechanical site management, preferably in steam turbine / rotating equipment / heavy industrial equipment projects.
• Strong understanding of steam turbine erection, alignment techniques, rotor dynamics, lube oil systems, auxiliary piping, and mechanical systems.
• Hands-on experience in handling large-capacity steam turbine projects (utility/industrial).
• Familiar with QA/QC standards, installation checklists, and safety protocols.
• Proficient in reading engineering drawings, isometrics, and installation layouts.
• Strong communication, leadership, and contractor management skills.
Work Environment:
• Project-based role with extensive travel to various industrial project sites.
• Must be adaptable to challenging site conditions and tight schedules.
