Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction Design, another relevant field, or equivalent work experience. Graduate degree is a plus
7+ years of experience in interaction design, product design, service design, or related field
2+ years of experience leading junior design team members
Deep knowledge of user experience methods, innovation, ideation, storytelling, prototyping, design frameworks, concept visualization, problem-framing skills and design principles
Expert knowledge and experience with driving and applying human-centered design processes while working collaboratively with customers, along with cross-functional teams including engineering, product management, data analytics, data science, and user research. Seasoned in Agile development processes.
Understand business and user experience performance metrics, and how it impacts the design direction and learning plan
Exemplary ability to build positive, collaborative relationships across teams/groups/functions through facilitative leadership to deliver great results and to "raise the bar" continually as an effective leader of positive change
Proven track record in leading with a clear vision for complex end-to-end user experiences, inspiring others to get behind the vision, and ultimately delivering products and services that are known for their delightful experience and ease of use
Experience designing for and working with design systems and reusable component libraries
Organized, self-directed, efficient and able to manage multiple and complex projects in a timely manner
Effective communicator, presenter, and negotiator
Mastery of design tools such as Figma, and skilled in creating 'lo-fi' prototypes to share with users in a fast, iterative manner
A well-presented online portfolio demonstrating strong interaction design craft and collaborative process
