You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. And you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.In this role, you'll:- Serve as a primary technical resolver for data center infrastructure challenges- Develop expertise in various hardware and software troubleshooting scenarios- Help drive continuous improvementsThis position includes shift work and may require rotation between locations.Key job responsibilities
SAFETY
- Follow and maintain the highest safety standards and diligently encourage a world-class safety culture. Own the safety initiatives and projects to foster a strong safety culture.DATA CENTER OPERATIONS (DCO)- Diagnosing hardware and network problems followed by physical repairs
- Troubleshooting events within internal Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Performing root cause analysis of equipment failures- Manual handling and lifting of equipment may be required (weight limits in accordance with regulations)
- Working rotating shifts (morning/late/night) as well as weekends to maintain the 24/7 data center environment (If applicable)
- On-call rotation reaction to off-duty emergency calls (if applicable)

- Experience with networking and computer hardware troubleshooting and repair
- Access to your own vehicle

- Bachelor's degree in information technology or computer science
- Basic knowledge of Linux and experience with network protocols
