Are you interested in an Internship opportunity with Philips? We welcome individuals who are currently pursuing an undergraduate (BS) and/or graduate (MS) degree to participate in paid intern opportunities. Through this role you will gain meaningful, hands-on experience working for a HealthTech company.

Your role:

  • Help develop advanced manufacturing processes, materials and equipment for building best-in-class medical Ultrasound imaging equipment that change people’s lives. Create solutions that work for our customers and for the team members who build our products.
  • Work with a multi-disciplinary development team in our Cambridge, MA office and lab while collaborating with team members in our central-Pennsylvania manufacturing plant and colleagues across Philips.
  • Gain real-world experience helping to solve complex technical problems using structured problem-solving techniques, data analysis and solid engineering skills.

You're the right fit if:

  • You have a strong interest in creating break-through medical devices that change people’s lives.
  • You are pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Biomedical Engineering and have completed at least your sophomore year.
  • You have strong communication and team-work skills, and you like working as part of a highly skilled team.
  • You have good hands-on skills for working with equipment and you also have strong analytical skills for working with data.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

The hourly pay range for this position is $28.00-45.00, plus overtime eligible. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
