The CRMS Documentation Officer provides documentation support for all business and product areas and acts as a consultant on system and documentation issues. The DCU officer will learn firm knowledge of documentation policy requirements, provide valued consultation to Relationship Managers and Legal counsel, and perform review of documents for important transactions. As a professional, they will act as a broad resource to CRMS and the Business; look beyond specific job tasks; take initiative; escalate issues where required; identify gaps and implement process enhancements; and provide support to the DCU team with BAU. They will be required to work independently when providing guidance and support to the Business and assist/oversee the BAU work of more junior members of the team.
Responsibilities:
- Obtains the required documents for the credit facilities approved for the client in line with Citibank Credit Policy and registers the documents into the credit system, scans and arranges the safekeeping of the originals. Tracks the deferred, deficient, expiring, and expired documents and provides our Business/Risk partners with regular reports.
- Assist with Data Quality Management within the team.
- Provides timely feedback on any issues/gaps identified and gaining the support of all stakeholders for control related initiatives.
- Regularly evaluates, challenges and redesigns control requirements/processes to meet all Citi, local and other regulatory requirements.
- Monitors and tracks all gaps/issues identified and ensures they are resolved/closed on time.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervising the activity of others and creating accountability for those who fail to maintain these standards.
Qualifications:
- Relevant experience.
- Proven ability to work independently and be a self-starter. Exceptional organization and process management ability.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize, multi-task and work within tight and changeable timeframe while still maintaining high level of accuracy.
- Advanced analytical & time management skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Intermediate technical skills including intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) a plus.
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience.
