Microsoft Senior Product Manager

We are looking for an experienced, exceptional Product Manager to set the vision and drive execution for enhancements to the software that supports the Azure Compute infrastructure. In this role you will design and manage software that enables highly trustworthy computing experiences in the Azure platform.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
  • OR equivalent experience.

Other Requirements:

• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree AND 7+ years of experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
  • OR equivalent experience.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, combined with a strategic orientation.
• Strong aptitude for data driven decision-making and strong focus on delivering end to end customer value.
  
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, particularly in working with remote teams.

• Defines product vision and strategy, leveraging deep understanding of the customer experience and competitive market.
• Building consensus on product strategy/vison across all functions and aligns with internal/external partners to achieve defined goals and vision for product/ service feature area(s)
• Identifying short-and long-term investment opportunities, evaluating tradeoffs, and driving the product roadmap.
• Defines the feature set and iterates with multiple designs with Design and Engineering.
• Engaging customers to capture feedback, develop insights, evangelize, and educate
• Works across all stages of product lifecycle from product definition, planning, release, modifications, maintenance, and feature deprecation.
