What skills and qualifications do I need?
For this role it is essential that you:
1. Fluency in Japanese and English (reading, writing, and speaking) with strong communication skills in a business environment, particularly for technical consultations.
2. Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field or equivalent experience (e.g., Code School/Bootcamp).
3. Solid understanding of web front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Previous experience in IT solution engineering, IT implementation, or IT project management is required.5. 6. Strong multi-tasking ability, with the capacity to manage competing priorities effectively.
7. A strong desire to learn new skills and continue self-improvement, with a passion for self-directed learning.9. Experience in mobile app development or familiarity with the online media/advertising industry is a plus.
10. Three professional references must be provided for verification purposes.
As a, you will:
1. Consultation and Solution Design: Collaborate with internal and external clients to understand their requirements, offering tailored technical solutions that align with their needs and goals.
2. Project Planning: Define project scopes, establish clear timelines, and assign responsibilities to stakeholders, ensuring a well-structured implementation process.
3. Technical Implementation and Delivery: Execute technical configurations to meet service-level agreements (SLAs) and business objectives, ensuring the successful delivery of all technical aspects.
4. Communication and Reporting: Maintain proactive communication with stakeholders by sharing regular updates on activities and progress in the Japan market.
5. Client Engagement and Support: Serve as the primary technical contact for clients, addressing their inquiries promptly and effectively via appropriate channels.
6. Issue Resolution and Follow-up: Troubleshoot and resolve technical and integration issues efficiently, escalating as necessary with thorough documentation to ensure swift resolutions.
7. Ownership and Accountability: Take full responsibility for technical deliverables and issue investigations in the Japan market, ensuring that all outcomes meet stakeholder expectations.
8. Client Consultation: Provide technical insights during external client meetings, offering tailored solutions with or without the support of Taboola’s business teams.
9. Data Analysis and Optimization: Continuously analyze data to identify opportunities for optimization, addressing abnormal trends proactively to maintain performance excellence.
10. Process Adherence and Expectation Management: Drive operational efficiency by following established processes, guidelines, and best practices, while guiding teams and clients to adhere to these protocols. Advocate for scalable solutions, minimizing customizations to support long-term growth.
