DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Design end-to-end solutions based on domain-driven-design for data movement and data publishing features in the Data Pipeline product. Work with cloud solutions and architectures on a public cloud platform. Decompose legacy systems into new application architecture and maintain them. Responsible for engaging architects, system engineers, development team and the testing teams in analyzing the initial requirements, system features and defining the scope for each iteration and the entire project, creating the tasks for development and testing team. Implement API service architectures. Develop and create high-level designs for converting requirements into business processes. Perform detail design work for workflows, business rules, user interfaces and reports. Conduct unit testing and integration testing with the development teams, and work with test teams to actively resolve Product issues. Design and develop new systems with an emphasis on minimized maintenance requirements, as well as performing maintenance and enhancement of existing systems. Interface with end-users to design and implement new systems and troubleshoot problems with existing systems. Participate in all stages of the project lifecycle including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support. Mentor new team members and facilitate knowledge transfer sessions regarding the applications and processes that are followed in the team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, Programmer Analyst, Technical Architect, Project Manager, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related field of study plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, Programmer Analyst, Technical Architect, Project Manager, or related occupation.
