Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience building resilient, high-scale, distributed microservices in production environments
- Proficiency in software programming with Java or some other object oriented programming language
- Familiarity with one or more of these technologies: Spring Framework/Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, SQL & NoSQL databases (Cassandra, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, MySQL), messaging systems (Kafka/RabbitMQ), Solr/Elasticsearch, Redis, etc.
- Proficient in algorithms and data structures
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written.
- Ability to solve problems given incomplete or partial data and/or requirements.
- Driven to deliver high quality solutions consistently and quickly.
- Self driven, collaborative, communicative, and fun to work with.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in stream processing and data processing tools and best-practices.
- Experience with CI/CD and Cloud Environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE/EE or a related technical field, or equivalent industry experience. Masters degree is a plus.
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $135,400 and $250,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
