Description
In this role, you will sit at the boundary between prototyping and production - often switching rapidly between exploratory prototyping and thorough development to enable interaction algorithms to make the leap from prototype to real product.You will prototype and define interactions end-to-end, in collaboration with HW, SW, and design partners. You will also design user studies and leverage prototypes to define success criteria. You will develop processes for measuring key performance indicators, as well as analyze data to identify and drive algorithm improvements.
Minimum Qualifications
  • BS and a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience.
  • Able to communicate clearly and collaborate with multi-functional teams
  • Excellent problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • MS in CS/CE/EECS/Math
  • Experience crafting rapid prototypes to investigate problems, capture feedback, and iterate.
  • Strong algorithm and mathematics fundamentals. You will be comfortable working with topics like state machine design, statistics, signal processing, machine learning, etc.
  • Proficiency with a programming language such as Swift, C++, Objective-C, etc.
  • Proficiency with scripting, data processing, data visualization and/or numerical analysis in Python, Ruby, or similar dynamically-typed language
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
